All
life ebbs and flows, like the ocean waves crashing on the shore, our heart constantly
beating-lungs expanding and contracting, wind pushing circling round the earth.
We survive by vibration, by cycles, by metamorphosis. The seed is stirring in
the darkness with the promise that if he breaks the surface there in the light
he will thrive. All life dances to the
same music. It is innate. These are like the presence of human emotion in thought.
The promise that it will always be sunny cannot be because we need nourishing
rains to fall for growth. To feel negative emotions is natural but we must
become like the observer. We must simply contemplate, waiting for the storm to
pass without reaction or projection into the environment, onto someone else or
something else.
Let the
emotion heal within yourself.
Emotions
can be summed up in that they are an effect to a cause. Whether it be thoughts
or past experience that provoke emotions, there is always a root. Take time
when experiencing a negative emotion and ask yourself what is the root of the
emotion and is this emotion universal truth? Does it dignify or serve you? Is
this feeling an extension of love?
Laura,
a great friend of mine recently said that you are not separate from your
environment but the environment is you, is a projection and reflection of yourself. We are an echo of the thoughts and
emotions we fuel repetitively. In science we are told energy has three laws of
composition: energy move in form, through form and out of form, energy can
neither be created nor destroyed and energy always will be and always has been.
We are all connected by the smallest form of life: energy. We are made of the
same substances as stars. You are not separate from the earth, the universe,
your brother or sister, your enemy. We are brothers and sisters through this
law. Your thoughts and emotions are energy like sound waves, they can be
measured. You are like a satellite constantly projecting and attracting into
your life what your frequencies and vibration emit. Are fueling the feelings
you want?
What
you resist persist.
Acknowledge
only things that bring you love or that orient themselves with love.
One evening an old Cherokee Indian
told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
He said, “My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
“One is Evil – It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow,
regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies,
false pride, superiority, and ego.
“The other is Good – It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth,
compassion and faith.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked
his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”
The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”
