Find Your Spirit Animal

  1. 1
    Clarify your intentions
. Finding your spiritual animal is a religious, spiritual and supernatural exercise. If you go into it with the wrong frame of mind, you will experience failure or negative consequences.

  2. 2
Ask yourself some questions as you start your quest. Here are some examples:

    • Which animals, birds or insects intrigue you?
    • What animal do you most want to see when you go into the forest, to a park or to the zoo.
    • What animal do you commonly see both in the city and out in nature?
    • Is there an animal that you feel a sudden strong interest in learning about?
    • Do you find a certain animal frightening?
    • Has a particular animal ever bitten or attacked you?
    • Do you have recurring dreams about a particular animal?
  3. 3
Make a list or draw some animals that have made an impression on you. Include animals not only from your time in nature but also from photos, stories, carvings, paintings or even movies.

  4. 4
Keep a journal of your meditations. Some animals may come and go, and some may stay. Keeping a journal of your interactions with these animals will help you learn more about yourself and your animal totem.

  5. 5
Look for reoccurring animals. If you start seeing an animal frequently, this could be your spiritual animal revealing itself to you. For example, if you see an elk on a nature program, drive past an elk lodge and then hear someone talk about going to Elk Grove, Wisconsin, all within the same day, this could be a sign that your spiritual animal is the elk.

  6. 6
Meditate to connect with your animal. Take some of the following steps:

    • Create a place that makes you feel comfortable. This setting could be a natural place like a meadow or a beach. It could also be somewhere man-made, such as a zoo or park. Trust your instincts.
    • Spend some time experiencing your surroundings. When you feel ready, begin to explore. Go anywhere that arouses your curiosity. Consider the idea that everything you find is something created by your mind to teach you something.
    • Close your eyes and call your animal. Ask your animal spirit to come into your meditative state so that you can talk to it. Spend time with your animal and learn how the 2 of you interact. Be open to anything it may have to offer and ask any questions that are on your mind.
    • If you find tools like candles, incense or smudges helpful while you're meditating, then feel free to use them. After a period of time meditating, ranging from several hours to several days, you will hear your spiritual animal and understand what it is.[1]
  7. 7
Perform a totem meditation. Consider the qualities that you want to bring out in yourself over the coming year. Meditate on an animal that you think would help you to reach your goals.[2]
    • Ask the animal for its assistance, wisdom and guidance, and write down any insights that you experience during the meditation.
    • Use the Internet, your local library or other research tools to find out more information on your animal and its context in different spiritual practices.
  8. 8
Consult a shaman. These spiritual mediums may have methods or advice for finding your spiritual animal. Be aware that finding a shaman in your neighborhood isn't as easy as doing a Google search or looking in the phone book. You may have to ask around or investigate on your own.

  9. 9
Honor your animal. It is believed in shamanism that you gain a deeper connection with your spiritual animal by honoring it. In doing this, you're letting it know that its assistance in helping you with your life is appreciated.

Awakened Wednesday Interview-Enlightened Consciousness

Check Out Enlightened Consciousness

Like Strength to Awaken on Facebook for more Wednesday Awakened Interviews

S2A: Please tell us a little about yourself. When did you become awakened?

Richie: I have always been awake since my journey began on this earth. There was no first memory, things just made sense to me as I began to remember and connecting the dots.

S2A: Who are the spiritual leaders or teachers that you look up most to and learn from?

Richie: Life! I learn from everyone, everything which includes for example - Sitting in silence, observation and daily interactions with others.

S2A:Tell us more about your typical day, what are your daily practices to get into your creative flow?

Richie: Quite interesting question. I wake up in the morning, awakening from my cave which I have recently Traveled to Crete-Greece to experience.
Twice a week I join the Kundalini Yoga classes during the morning from 8am - 10am.
During the afternoon I go swim out into the ocean returning to create hand crafted jewelry ranging from bracelets, rings, necklaces, macrame and wood work(carving).
As for materials, I often use Avocado seed for Pendants, rough wood found in the mountains, crystals... anything I can recycle and create art from.
Started creating Orgonite too which I will be making available online. So keep your eyes peeled on Enlightened Consciousness.

S2A: What is your next project if any?

Richie: Creating Orgonites and providing them online and distributing them around the world for a price which will be cheap enough for the people and to keep us going.
My aim is to distribute Orgonite all around the world to do its thing.

Follow the link to find out more (http://www.orgonite.info/ )

S2A: Do you have interaction with the other like minded people of your page? If so how do you go about connecting with those people?

Richie: For sure! Often get in-boxed by fans from the page which we chat to each other for some time via the page and often connecting with them which leads to a friend invite. I mean, I LOVE people. Everyone has their differences which I honor. Makes them unique.

S2A: What are you doing to give the world the strength to awaken?

Richie: Providing Global Meditation events. Helping out the biggest pages on Facebook such as The Mind Unleashed, Earth. We are one. which recently we have teamed up with Spirit Science and Expanded Consciousness to create Global MeditationMovement.
Earth. We are one have created a group on Facebook connecting like minded people from all parts of the world. Often people wake up to find that they were under the veil of the illusion and feel that there is no one around them which possibly feels the same way.
Which EWAO is a place we can all share experiences to and discuss, ask questions send Love. I have just began setting up a online channel which myself and few others will be streaming Conscious Rap/Hip-hop. I feel these guys are AMAZING and too need the
recognition which commercial will not provide for them. They too have a message such as myself and their way of spreading it, is via music. Music being one of the most powerful sources of spreading messages.

S2A: What current projects are you included in or have started yourself?

Richie: EWAO group- Global Meditation Movement! Super stoked for our first attempt at heightening the vibration of Gaia (Mother Earth) The online channel streaming Conscious Rap, Hip-hop.. all sorts with a message such as mine.

S2A: What made you come up with the project that you are doing now?

Richie: Well being involved with the scene, you realize more and more people are having difficulties waking up and connecting with like minded people. As for the music, I can not listen to the mind conditioning nonsense which is being played commercially and to hear music
which relates to unveiling, enlightening and informative music is FANTASTIC!
Which funny enough, people aren't aware that these conscious rappers/artists exist.

S2A:Tell us about the best part of your work?

Richie: Feeling the love

S2A: How/where do you see yourself/your work a year from now?

Richie: Who knows. I am here to heighten the vibration and help others around the world.
I put my all in the Universe.

S2A: Share your unique life lesson or end message if you have one?

Richie: Keep life simple. Abundance and gratitude is key.
Do no do to others as you would not like to have done onto you.

We are in this TOGETHER  Small acts, when multiplies by millions of people, can transform the world.

Love and light to all.

Asteya Non-Stealing

Asteya is non-stealing. This one is pretty self-explanatory.  As for the other yamas, much self-analysis will be necessary to catch the subtle lower tendencies of our mind. Asteya also includes the concept that you should try to be content with what comes to you by honest means. If you are always dwelling on things other people have and you don't have, eventually the thought of taking something that doesn't belong to you becomes more acceptable to the mind, which can in turn lead to actual theft. When you eventually convince yourself that someone else "has so much and won't miss this if I take it", you are giving yourself permission to steal. This method can reduce feelings of guilt in the short run, but in the long run is still a violation of this yama.
Desire or want is the root cause for stealing.Swami Sivananda

Most people aren't aware of it, but the idea of hoarding is another aspect to asteya. The idea is that you are keeping more than what you need for yourself instead of sharing or giving things away that you no longer need. Hoarding applies to many things such as food (eating too much), money, and possessions. Of course one should always keep what is reasonable and necessary to provide for one's self and family members, but a thoughtful analysis should be made as to what is actually necessary to keep, and what one is keeping because of various attachments.
If you are established in non-stealing, all wealth will come to you.Swami Sivananda
In yoga we are taught that when we no longer desire something it will come to us by itself. This is also the case for asteya. Since the root cause of taking what doesn't belong to you is desire, when you give up desire for things, all sorts of wealth will come to you by itself. To master this yama we should try to curb our desires little by little through the regular practice of yoga, and eventually the mind and our actions will come more under our control.

Moon Meditation Guide

Check out Strength to Awaken to learn about meditation and spirit science.

Instructions on how to do a Moon Meditation:

  1. If at all possible stand or sit barefoot upon the earth.
  2. Close your eyes or keep them softly focused and feel the moon beams bathing you in cleansing and purifying energy. If you are in the sunlight then go into your bed room make a clean and comfortable spot imagining the moon beams and soothing properties of the moon light. You can also charge a bath with Epsom salts and calming herbs like sage and lavender.
  3. Breathe deeply. Feeling your lungs and diaphragm expand to it's maximum capacity. Pause for a few seconds and slowly exhale imagining the diaphragm as "up flying" or pulling the diaphragm towards the spine. Imagine your inhale and exhale creating a figure eight or infinity symbol.
  4. Imagine all areas of the body releasing tension starting from the feet going all the way up to the muscle of the face. Let go of all muscle tension. Surrender.
  5. Imagine roots from the legs or base of the spine diving down into the earth. Guide this energy up towards the very top of the head or the crown. Imagine a white lotus flower on the very top of your head and through this blossoming lotus flower white glowing pure light is pouring into your body. Covering like a blanket of snow all of the body seeping into each pore. Cleansing your inner being.
  6. Feel comfort bliss. Now dive down in the earth as exhale. Letting go of anything that no longer serves you. Anxiousness-Anger-Sadness.
  7. Imagining the white light again drawing it from the earths core through you, up each energy center through your body and penetrating into the universes and endless stars.
  8. Imagine bliss, peace and love showering again back down on the earth. Each liquid crystal of love touch every person on the globe. That energy returning to you as cool, soft, angel wings surrounding you.
  9. Placing your hands in prayer, lifting your hands to third eye center and bowing.
  10. We end by letting our hands come back down to heart center. Saying Namaste, which means My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty, and peace within you, because it is also within me. In sharing these things, we are united, we are the same,we are  one.

Moon Energies

The moon emanates distinctly different energies during the full cycle from new moon to full moon.  Each of the eight cycles facilitates the process of creation and manifestation. The eight phases each have a duration of approximately 28 days. An example and definitition follow:
Day 1-31/2 New moon energy is for creating a vision
Day 31/2-6 Crescent moon energy if for organizing resources needed to accomplish the vision
Day 6-91/2First quarter moon is using resources gathered to take action toward fulfilling the vision
Day 10-131/2 Gibbous moon energy helps us fine tune our goals, gather opinions from others and  make revisions to the plan.
Day 133/4-171/2 The light of the full moon brings about manifestation of, or progress toward our goals.  We can see where we are in the process of realization of the plan.
Day 171/2-21 The disseminating moon helps us distribute and share what we have learned, or to have a clearer understanding of what to do next.
Day 21-241/2 In the third quarter of the moon we are in a completion and review phase, or following up on and refining  the resources we gathered during the crescent moon. Re-evaluation takes place during this time to determine what is needed as a next step to move forward with the goal.
Day 241/2-282Under the balsamic moon it is time to be alone, meditate, retreat, and release attachment to outcome.  It is time to rest and be introspective. During this time vision clears and we are ready to begin again with the next new moon.

9 ways to Celebrate the Summer Solstice

What is the summer solstice?
Solstice, or Litha means a stopping or standing still of the sun.
It is the longest day of the year and
the time when the sun is at its maximum elevation.

Tips from Red Moon Herbs

ways you might welcome this first day of summer:

  1. Plant a tree (maybe a serviceberry tree),
  2. Have a bonfire with friends,
  3. Light a candle while you contemplate fulfillment,
  4. Watch the sunset,
  5. Do 54 or 108 sun salutations,
  6. Reinvigorate your New Year's resolution to bring them closer to fruition,
  7. Connect to Nature and the Sun, maybe by going to the beach, meadow or mountaintop with a good book,
  8. Connect to your plant allies, maybe St. John's Wort for a fresh topical oil or a mood-enhancing tea, Mugwort to delve deep into summer dreamtime or Yarrow for your first aid kit,
  9. or any other activity that feels like it celebrates the warmth and life giving properties of the sun!

Secret Spiritual meaning of Stonehedge

The giant megalithic stone circle of Stonehenge aligns most prominently to the summer solstice – with alignments at sunrise, midday, and sunset.
At sunrise on the summer solstice, the sun rose between two Heel Stones outside Stonehenge, and penetrated into its center to the altar stone.
A giant ancient avenue leading from Stonehenge to the nearby River Avon also aligns to the summer solstice sunrise. The ancient stone circle called Bluehenge lies where this avenue and the river meet.
At midday on the summer solstice, the sun shines directly overhead Stonehenge into its center.
Next to Stonehenge there is a large area called the Stonehenge Cursus which is an area of earthen ditches and banks around 3km long and 100-150 meters wide. Within this area are two huge pits around 16 feet across and 3 feet deep that when viewed from the Heel Stone just outside Stonehenge, align to the summer solstice sunrise and sunset.
Yet another ancient site called Durrington Walls lies 2 miles north-east of Stonehenge. It contains a henge called the Southern Circle consisting of six concentric circles that would have been made out of large timber posts. The circle is aligned to the winter solstice sunrise, but like Stonehenge has a paved avenue leading to the River Avon and a post which acted as the Heel Stone, but aligned to the summer solstice sunset rather than sunrise.
It is possible that Stonehenge was part of a sacred landscape in which a number of sites were used ceremoniously during various celestial occasions, but it appears, particularly the summer solstice.

Awakened Wednesday Interview-Earth,we are one.

S2A:When did you become awakened?
When was your first memory of waking to the spiritual reality, the higher consciousness?

Kevin: Wow that's a lot haha. Okay, I had always felt different. Like aware of the deceptions in our world. Only when I got talking to a co-worker in Amsterdam did things really shift into gear. He told me about a book called Conversations with GOD and I remember saying, your kidding right? no one has a conversation with GOD. but that day I went out and brought the book. I think I finished it in 3 days. I guess my first truly "out of this world experience" was when I was about 4 years old. I went with my mum and dad to Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast. Me and my dad leant over the edge to drop a big rock and once the rock hit the ocean I looked a bit further out at sea and saw a Massive castle in the water, it was white and glowing. It did not resemble a castle as we know them, but this was incredibly beautiful. I said to my dad, "Pa, look!" and pointed but he did not see it, and after that I never spoke about it anymore.

S2A: Who are the spiritual leaders or teachers that you look up most to and learn from?

Kevin: My favorite teachers must be Buddha, Eckhart Tolle, Neale Donald Walsch, Gregg Braden, Dr, Wayne Dyer. There are to many to name, but here are a few. And I love the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu.

S2A: Tell us more about your typical day, what are your daily practices
to get into your creative flow?
Kevin:My typical day and creative flow? hmm, I have not been doing to much in the form of creativity lately. At the moment I am taking time out. I have been feeling a bit weak and slow. The docs are not sure what is going on, but I hope to get on the Gerson Therapy soon. I normally do Yoga, and I enjoy walks on the beach. I used to do a bit of writing, but not anymore. Writing seems to intense a hobby for me at present.
S2A: When was it that you thought to make Earth, we are one. Explain the process that made you establish Earth, we are one. Can you explain it’s popularity?
Kevin: I set out with the intention to create a page with a name something we could all agree upon. The words Oneness and Earth resonate with Everyone. In terms of content, we post a mix of things. From inspirational to things that will get you thinking and questioning the world as it currently is. I think the reason why it is so popular is because people want to feel connected. Everyone on that page knows we share a connection to the earth and each other.
S2A:Do you have interaction with the other like-minded people of your page? If so how do you go about connecting with those people?
Kevin: I have regular contact with other big Facebook pages. We help share each others content and help each other out whenever the opportunity arises. When laying contact it was either me or them that instigated it. from there on out its been a good collaboration since. The more pages we collaborate with the better.
S2A: What are you doing to give the world the strength to awaken?
Kevin: Hmm, what am I doing to help the awakening. Well for me its "Earth. We are one." our new project which is a collaboration with other page called "Global Meditation Movement" and our Community which we started only 2 weeks ago called "EWAO". The GMM will continue to grow as awareness spreads. We hope that in say a few months time we have 100,000's of people joining in the Worldwide Meditation. The evidence suggests that when this happens, we will literally change the vibration of love on earth. So this is one very exciting project, and the good thing is it does not cost any money and we don't have to go anywhere. We are also setting up a website that will have a Countdown for the Global Mediation, this way no one can miss it or mistake when the time is on. EWAO is a Community of awakened people's. People that are waking up to all kinds of happenings that are taking place. From Government Corruption, to Monsanto, Ancient History, ET presence, Free Energy, Eating Organic foods, Universal Consciousness... The list is long. You name it. Its a coming together. And its very exciting to see so many people on there so consistently. People asking for help, people just want to talk about what interests them, people making connections and so forth. Its become a real hub - that's what I like. I like bringing people together.
S2A: What current projects are you included in or have started yourself?
Kevin: A project I started? I have been writing a story since 2004, and I hope to make a video and place it on YouTube  I hope to get some funds to help me get on the Gerson Therapy through this. Lots of things happening, but for me I am letting other pages run my page and take care of EWAO for the meantime, while I stop spending time on the computer and just focus on taking things easy.
S2A: How/where do you see yourself/your work a year from now?
Kevin: I have no idea where I will be in a years time.
There is lots happening, and my since I am taking a bit of a back seat I guess  time will tell.
S2A: What is your next project if any?
Kevin: I have no other project in mind at the moment. Except letting what is unfolding now.

S2A: Share your unique life lesson or end message if you have one?
Kevin: My message to the world? Its very simple really.
If we be who we are and let all our intentions come from
a place of Oneness we will have World Peace very soon.
I hope this helps.
Namaste

Satya Truth

Check out Strength to Awaken every Tuesday to learn about this ancient art and science.

Satya or Sathya is a Sanskrit word that loosely translates into English as "absolute truth" or "reality".
The philosophical meaning of the word 'Satya' is "unchangeable", "that which has no distortion", "that which is beyond distinctions of time, space, and person", "that which pervades the universe in all its constancy." – Defined by Wikipedia
I have heard a lot of people say that Satya is truth. To tell the truth and understand the truth. I think this concept, this part of the ancient wisdoms is beyond the consciously tangible. I think that Satya takes a certain inspiration to weave into your life everyday life permanently.
Satya or undeniable truth is that we are all connected. We are made of the same material as literally everything that surrounds us. We in essence existing are unchangeable.
How can that be?
We change all of the time, growing, aging, and breathing but there is the constant.
This promise has been confirmed by science and religion alike.
WE ARE INFINITE.
We always will be and always have been.
We can neither be created nor destroyed.

Now I bet some of you reading this are wondering but who am I?
You my wonderful beautiful products of pure wonder will just have to follow your undeniable passions.
The thing that excites you and makes you feel pure.
That thing is the magic stuff that unites us all.
That wonderful energy will peel away the layers and
give you no choice but to dive to the deepest part of yourself
Just to find the ultimate truth.
We are completely self-less.

But we must find the self-first to go beyond that…

"In yourself possession you are always looking for black and white forms of renunciation, private games of inverted meditation or something somebody can do to you. Some manipulation to your body, some drug you can take, some hormone you see; that will induce mystical and enlightened conditions. Whereas the only process that serves enlightenment is one of the conversion of the heart, the moral conversion of the being from the self-possessed methods to all of forms of self-transcendence or God communion." Adi Da Samraj
